The short version: we don't collect personal information about you, and there are no tracking cookies on this site.
What we collect
HealthMaps is a simple information website. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and nothing you type into the site (like the cost calculator) is sent or stored anywhere — it runs entirely in your browser.
We use server-side analytics provided by our hosting service (Netlify) to see aggregate numbers — how many people visit and which pages they read. This works from standard server logs, places no cookies in your browser, runs no tracking scripts, and doesn't build a profile of you. We can't identify individual visitors and don't try to.
Cookies
This site doesn't set cookies. That's also why you don't see a cookie banner.
If you email us
If you contact us by email, we'll see your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply, we don't add you to any list, and we don't share it with anyone. Given the subject matter of this site, please share only what you're comfortable sharing.
Where the site is hosted
The site is hosted by Netlify, whose servers may be located outside Australia. Like any web host, Netlify's infrastructure processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages to your browser. See Netlify's privacy policy for details.

We link to external services (like Services Australia and crisis support lines). Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
